STEP 2: There are 8 different types of heating panels and are laid according to plan. The IDEAL ECO heating panels are 3 cm thick and the overall height for a floor depends on the final floor finish.

STEP 3: Channels other than those in the standard heating panels can be cut using a hand router. The blue System pipe is then pressed into the channels. Blank panels are available for areas that do not require heating.

STEP 1: The System IDEAL ECO for floors and walls are made from ecologically sound, high quality, flame retardant 30mm thick Gutex wood fibre panels. As with System IDEAL an integrated aluminum conduction plate is adhered to the top surface. The wood fibre panels serve as heat and sound insulation.

STEP 4: In order to maintain a comfortable room temperature, a lower water temperature is set to that required by radiators. Therefore under floor heating systems are far more energy efficient and cheaper to run. they can be used in conjunction with condensing boilers, solar powered systems and ground source heat pumps.
